There are so many wedding filmmakers out there… so how do you know which company to choose?

Not every wedding filmmaker will be right for you, and not every couple will be right for us.  We get that.  Your priorities and desires for a wedding film need to match the priorities and desires of the film maker.

 

Our style of wedding films:

We are artists.  Cinema is an artistic industry.  This means there are many different styles and interpretations of what a wedding film is.  It’s taken us a while to be able to pin point our interpretation, and exactly what our style and focus is.  Do we focus on a cinematic “movie-like” style or a documentary “raw and real” style?  Are we traditional or modern?  What is our goal for the final product?

I can tell you first off, that we feel like every wedding film we make is different.  There are different aspects about the day, or the couple, that affects every film in different ways.  But over all, what drives our films is EMOTION.  All the way from the lenses we choose during filming, to the music we select during editing, we aim for an over-all romantic, bigger than life, feel.  This is usually depicted as more of a cinematic “film-like” style.

While our style is more modern, we definitely keep the traditional sides of a “wedding video” in the final product.  We always try to include the vows, bouquet/garter toss, cake cutting and departure in our films.  This is our preference so that we can keep the memories of these special moments alive for our clients.  Many wedding film makers do not include these moments in their final films for various reasons… but for us, they are just as important as the overall story and beauty of your film.

Our goal for the final product is to make you laugh…  to cry… to carry you on an emotional journey of your wedding day.  We hope to show you your wedding day through our eyes.  From the inside, you may have missed the beauty and emotions all around you… but that’s why you have us; to have a second perspective of your wedding day, from the outside, looking in.
